C’mon the hoops After the disappointment of the weekend, the world appears to be spinning correctly again and last night has put a spring back in most of our steps. That isn’t to say that Sunday wasn’t annoying and there will be folk still moaning but hey, its football, you just have to get on with things.
So, the 2-0 win at Ross County has put us in the quarter final of the Scottish Communities League Cup and we have to be looking at winning it – then again, we should be looking at winning this trophy every season. Many fans discredit it and only value it as part of a treble but I think we need to take every trophy that is going…and if we win 3 more games in this tournament, we win the cup – it is not as if it will be a drain on our resources.
Our draw is: Hibs v Celtic
The quarter final games are scheduled to be played on Tuesday 25th of October and Wednesday 26th of October and the BBC will more than likely pick up a game to show on the box.
