Hoops Take Full Points On The Park…Green Brigade Take Full Points Off The Park!

Celtic Bounce Back With Three Points…
After you lose a derby match it’s imperative to get full points in your next league game, no matter who you play.
Inverness Caley Thistle have been a thorn in our side in recent times, so we had to make sure we gave 100% at Celtic Park today and get the right result.
Thankfully we did, first half goals from Joe Ledley and James Forrest were enough to give Celtic a 2-0 win.
Although the win was fairly comfortable, at times we looked really shaky, particularly in the opening ten minutes when Fraser Forster, Dangerous Dan and Big Glenda all played their part in giving The Faithful palpitations!
It was more good fortune than skill that we survived that opening period.
I suppose if anything was achieved today it was how to hold on to a lead and see the game out, something we didn’t do this time last season. But it looks like coming at a price as Gary Hooper hobbled off just after half time with what looked like an ankle injury. (Pray God it’s only a knock!)
So, the Bhoys wrapped up the points in what was a quiet first half. Quiet because the Green Brigade had a point of their own to make.
It is quite obvious the GB are been victimised and persecuted in their love of Celtic. The songs they sing are non-politican and non-sectarian. They sing in honour of the proud heritage the club has and they sing about the club we all love.
What goes on behind the scenes regarding the GB I personally don’t know, but from what I read today at Celtic Park they are being hounded for showing their support of Celtic.
It may well be the police, it could be the politicans. Whoever it is need to remember we live in a democracy. Free speech and all that.
If they want to shut the Celtic support up, they’ll need to go farther afield than just the Green Brigade.
For the second forty-five minutes at Paradise today we saw the whole Celtic support do what we do best…..get behind our manager, our players and our club.
And nothing will stop that.
Hail! Hail!
