The Finland international has been a revelation since his arrival at Rugby Park on loan from Ukrainian outfit Metalist Kharkiv and has been named as one of the four nominees for the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award.
He is not sure what will happen when his deal expires in the summer but has revealed that he would be open to staying in Scotland.
Eremenko said: "I've been here for one year and if I was staying in Glasgow, it means I would not have to pack my bags and not have to move because I have so many clothes.

Quotes of the week
"I wouldn't have to change apartments so it would be a really good thing. I'll see what happens.
"If we are talking about Celtic, they have plenty of players and it would be more difficult there.
"Rangers, I don't know what's happening at Rangers now.
"I said to the people who are taking care of my situation that I want everything to be clear before the end of the season."
Asked if he would remain at Kilmarnock, he added: "No, I don't think so.
"Of course, if the chairman wants to offer me something nice, I would consider it. But that's up to him."
Dream
Eremenko is up against Steven Naismith of Rangers and Celtic duo Gary Hooper and Emilio Izaguirre for the award and says coming out on top would only boost his future prospects.

He said: "Winning an award like this would just be like a dream for me, for any player.
"It's a big plus in your book if you have an award like this.
"Being nominated is already like a win for me because, if you'd asked me seven months ago, I would never have expected this.
"Of course, if I win it, it would be really, really great."
Paatelainen praise
Eremenko insists a large chunk of the credit must go to former boss Mixu Paatelainen, who brought him to Kilmarnock before recently quitting the club to take over as Finland boss.
He said: "If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here now. I would not have come to Kilmarnock in the first place, that's for sure, so all thanks go to him. I just wish him luck now with the Finnish national team.
"I always said that everything starts from the gaffer. The way he wants the team to play, the way he gets information to the players has been great this season.
"The players have taken that information and shown on the pitch what we can do and I think the whole team has done great."
